It is outrageously chilly here, quite cold in fact. Our bird bath was frozen solid yesterday morning. Strange occurrences at the time of the year where anything can happen...
As the sun was setting, I could see the witches at work through the trees, as sparks from spells and cauldron fires filled the night sky...
Shiny red apples prepare to be glazed in delicious layers of candy and caramel...
Beware of the old woman offering perfect red precious apples (I love this in French) -
Ahh yes, my pretttties...
We, over here at AFT, are making sure that our teeth are in perfect taffy munching condition. Make sure to make your sweet tooth extra happy...
Yumm yumm ;)
I am carving a round ghoulish head...
Perrrrrrfect pumpkin brains indeed!
I do quite adore the scent of the candle burning inside the pumpkin head. How we must savor every morsel of this spooky mysterious day, don't you think?
Now, beware of who you meet out there, under the full moon...
I am keeping that in mind while I stir up some melted chocolate...
And get a few ingredients together...
To dip and sprinkle my homemade caramel apples with. Ooooooh, aaaaaah...
May the creepy wonderful magical swirls of All Hallows' Eve dance around you. I am in full spooky swing, and loving every moment of it.
My best friend and I will be up to some major tricks, don't worry, he is harmless. He says, he can't wait to hide behind a tree and wait for you to skip by... EEEeeeek!
Don't worry, he just wants to invite you to the circus...
I promise -
Sweet ghoulish dreams, as we delight in a Saturday Hallllooowwweeeen!
See you extra sooooooon. Are you wearing your pointy shoes? Will you be costumed? I can't wait!
♥ ,V

Happy Halloween, my friend. I'm going to have a busy and magical day spending time with one of my best friends. Then reading Tarot cards at a Halloween party later on in the night.
When I return, I plan on dancing withe faeries and eating chocolate on this most magical night.

Pure Halloween perfection. We would expect no less from you Vanessa dear.
You thrill.
You chill.
You amaze.
You daze.
You slink.
You wink.
You do us all proud and we love you.
Happy Halloween my pretty!

Happy Halloween!! Beautiful photos. I look like a ghost but mostly because my neighbours kept me up until 3.30 by singing karaoke off key and stomping the floor and knocking on walls. I would prefer to look like a unicorn or butterfly.

Have a wonderful All Hallows Eve!... Bisous... Julie Marie PS Your candy and caramel apples look sooo yummy!

Happy Halloween Vanessa! I like your videos and halloweeny pictures. I think clowns are scary and that is when they are not doing scary dances! Though actually this one was not too terrifying. Hope you meet lots of lovely ghoulies and ghosties and long leggety beasties tonight!

Happy Halloween Vanessa, hope you have a spooktacular day. We are off out tricking and treating friends and family tonight, should be a cackle. Dressed up in our glam rags. I'll be keeping photographic evidence of course and then it's a well earned blogiday for the month of november i think. Catch you later :)

Mmmm...now I want more caramel apples. I made some a few weeks ago but I don't think that eating two was enough, do you? ';)
Tonight two of my friends are getting married. They are very goth and having a costumed Halloween wedding suits them - and us as their guests. (LOL) My companion and I are going as Victorian ghosts. I can't wait. It's being held in a winery and afterward there will be feasting & dancing. A perfect evening.

Hi, I usually just lurk here to read your blog, but I just had to say that I loved this post. Now I want caramel apples. And clowns terrify me.
Have a Happy Halloween.

ok. Enough with the clown. EEPS!!! Bring me 100 chainsaw massacre guys, 50 mothmen, 30 Freddie Kruegers, and 1 Hannibal Lecter over that creepy clown guy. What's up with that? I couldn't even WATCH the whole thing.
Have a fabulous Halloween, Vanessa. Enjoy the caramel apples and your sweetie, but (looks both ways and whispers) stay away from the CLOWN! - Kathy in Chicago

Oh now you've gone and done it, Vanessa...Alice is terrified of clowns. During the teen years, SPC Ryan used to dress in his psycho clown costume and sneak into her bedroom at night and whisper, "Bobo's in your room". This post will just do her in! First photo is so magical...just like you. So sorry, I stole an apple! **blows kisses** Deb

Yes, clowns are definitely THE scariest. Showed up for a Samhain festival last night and had to leave ten minutes into it as my daughters' allergies went through the roof. Oh well. Happy Halloween!!
