Yes...we are all 'mad' here! hee! hee!
Ta! ta! See you later...

If one is inclined to all things Alice, I am finishing a wild graphic novel called Alice in Sunderland, which is a cultural, political, and literary history of the geographic area in which Lewis Carroll lived and wrote, especially his Alice books.

Great posting. Lovely photos. Thanks again for your camera feedback last December.

Oh my, that Christmas Cake looks devine! Sure to convert ANY fruitcake hater, myself included.

I just love the new treats you have added...must have must have!!

Now I'm off to my MAD little world!! Have a lovely day Miss V!!

Truly worth the work! This is the best! Thanks for the lovely postcards! Beautiful! Blessings dear.

How is this for serendipity? I sat down to write you today because, for good reason, I've had your Mad TeaParty on my mind lately, and what did I discover but the most amazingly rich collage! My mother nicknamed ME Catherine the Great, when she wasn't calling me Katherine the Shrew!

Now, here's the reason I've been recalling your madly blossful tea paries and silly soirees:

When I returned to art after a long, long hiatus, which left me filled with doubt and insecurity about my ability to create, I began to search for inspiration and enlightenment, and I read somewhere about the fantastic little world you had created. The first time I traveled here I became entranced by the color and joy and characters you create. Your sense of whimsy, joyful outlook, and adventurous spirit is contagious, and I want to thank you for all the inspiration you've given me.

Today, I announced a blog event that I'm hosting, to benefit relief efforts in Haiti. I'm not sure if you know Rebecca (of the Cigarbox shrine auction), but she's helped me organize an on-line art auction, which you can read about at http://amusingmuses2.blogspot.com

I hope you will consider putting my logo and link on your blog, as the success of the auction depends on entirely on the number of people that know about it, and you reach so many people.

Thank you again for continuing to shine your light and for making my world more beautiful.

Love,
Kathy aka Alberta aka Katherine the Great

I think your postcards are spectacular!

Thank you ever so much for my Catherine the Great post card. I had no idea she was your creation. I just love her. She sits in my art gallery...her own little spot! She is divine.
I am still decorated for Christmas...LOL!! And all this talk of Tea Parties and March...well I guess I better move some of these holiday decorations out of here and prepare for spring? So sad! It will feel so empty when they are gone. Sigh!
Hugging you
