Bloomers and Dough and Fur, Oh My!

I've been sent by the S.S.B.S. (Super Secret Bloomer Society) to make sure you have worn your bloomers this weekend (for at least 5 minutes).  I assured them you had ~ You have, haven't you?

You mustn't forget how they add that Je ne sais quoi glow to your week!  I shouldn't have to remind you ;)

 

You know which bloomers I am talking about, don't you?  The chartreuse and teal striped ones of course! 

Now now, don't act like you don't know what I am talking about... 

You know, the ones you wear with your little black tap shoes and candy shop socks with lace??

   

I bet you thought I didn't know about said bloomers??  And how you frolic with Willy Wonka, whilst sipping chocolate from a stream - in your mind...

How could I possibly know this you ask?

Well, I saw you there, last night at a quarter past midnight, in my 3rd dream. 

I was wearing the same exact bloomers!  The ones from Cheeky Little Buns Bloomer Shop.  I was told they were one of a kind - Then I saw you over the purple hill, in the glow of the pink sky, in the same bloomers!

I also saw that you were wearing that wonderful plump little fruit helmet on your head, just like mine.

Ahhh, we have good taste, don't we?

Only, I think your fruit helmet is plumper than mine!  Let's trade ;)

      

I bet you are wondering if I have gone mad?  Well, if you hadn't noticed, I was always mad - but the caramel sauce for my choco-flan cakes tipped me right over the edge of this planet...

Now, if you find yourself in the same predicament - you know, sugar rush land - you can always bring yourself back to earth with this amazing discovery I made...

In trying dozens of pizza dough recipes, I found a superb winner!

It is so easy, I can't even tell you.  I made a veggie pizza that was out of this world...

        

Pizza to faint over...

        

I used fresh garlic, sweet onions, mushrooms, red bell peppers, fresh rosemary and basil - for cheese I used a tiny bit of Jarlsberg swiss and a tiny bit of finely chopped mozzarella... (ps:  I like to make my sauce, but the marinara by Barilla is pretty lovely out of all the ones I have tried.  It is sweet, not acidic)

 

        

 

We don't even like pizza that much.  Which is why I tried to find a recipe of our own, that we would enjoy.  And boy, did we ever!

 

YUMM!

 

   

 

Try it - you won't regret it.  It is the fastest rising dough I have ever tried...

 

Anywhoooo ~ I hate to have to run, but I have been scurrying non-stop for days it seems, busy as a bee.  And I must deliver my cakes - 

 

However, I just have to share a photo of fur baby love before I go.  This is the toughest and meanest little dog in the world.  He is nice to me and Mister, but he is a meanster to everyone else.

 

Had we known he was going to be verrry verrry smool and verrry verrry stroong we would have named him Napoleon ;)

 

        

 

He makes me feel safe.  I love him.
