Oh so magical...so peaceful. The rains have certainly brought an abundance to your little world. I love all of these photos. So full of life and hope and Spring! Your moon shot is fabulous! LoVe lOvE your fairies and the wee little lights. **blows kisses** Deb

hello Vanessa,

seems spring is in your garden already !

Here it is coming too : pansies are flowering, the first daffodils are showing their yellow heads, we can see the heads of the tulips coming...
Today was a sunny day, not so warm yet, but just warm enough to open the veranda where I create, so I could feel the warmth and the wind and enjoy the sight of the garden.

I know the fairies are coming out of their winterhomes : just waiting for the cherrytree to blossom : THE sign of spring for me here in my garden.

I spotted fairies in the roundrobinbook I'm working in : "the secret garden".. do you know the movie ?
I wanted to evoke a magical feeling in my creation in the book : fairies needed to be there, just like in your garden :)

greetings from belgium
Inge

Oh My, how I love your pictures and your posts!!!
They have some sort of strange magic that makes you "jump" into the picture, and feel like you are part of the story you are telling.
It seems that spring has come really fast to your garden... I can't wait to see more pictures!!
Have a nice day,
Nicole

Oh how cute! Well, it's nice to see that spring is definitely here if the fairies are starting to come out of their winter nests.

Your post made me think about the evening hide and seek games my friends and I would have when we were kids. I had one hiding place that no one could find that I always called my fairy nest where I kept a bunch of treasures hidden. *grin*

Cheers!

I love the beautiful photos...and I would be pleased to see a little fairy like your sweet fairies in my garden! Enjoy your weekend! ♥

Oooh Vanessa... I wondered where my fairy girls had flitted off to last night... I heard giggling earlier in the evening... then just as I looked out at the moon in the evening sky, the laughter went away and they were nowhere to be found... now I know they were missing you and your magical gardens, which are blooming sooo beautifully right now... Spring is slowly arriving here... but my fairy sisters are impatient, like me, and I knew they wanted to spirit away amongst your fairy lights and flowers... I simply must buy some fairy lights for my garden this year so as not to disappoint them! Thank you so much for sharing your enchanting photo of them, frolicking in your gardens... I am constantly in awe of all of your gorgeous photos... I love the way you describe your gardens at midnight... I am also anxiously awaiting your new fairies! One cannot have too many fairies, non? xoxo Julie Marie

How enchanting and so beautiful! I love walking through flower gardens - it's so relaxing and dreamy. Your photos are always so exquisite! Everything is so in bloom - we are catching up here on the east coast (except for some very chilly weather this weekend). Your faeries are so adorable - perhaps I might find one hiding in our daffodils soon! :) Have a wonderful day and enjoy baking the choco-flan cakes (sounds yummy). :) Theresa

The pictures of the flowers are lovely, but i am seriously digging on the very first two-the windmill lit from behind with a dusky glow; the simplistic beauty of the white gate against the sea of green.

And ....weelings soon?

nevermind midnite, thats an afternoon delite!

Ooh yes, fairies in the garden at night! I still love those photos of the little victorian girls with their fairies dancing around them-though not at night. Also there is an amazing painting of lots of fairies in a tree at night. I will find these and send you links-though you probably know them.
I love the fact that wherever we are in the world, we see the same moon shining down on us. I love your description of the trees at night, taking on their night time personas. So true! I have a kitten on my lap at the moment, I might take her outside to sniff the air once she is less sleepy!
xx

I love your nighttime garden. So magical!

chocolate and fairies, yay!!!

Sweden has even MORE snow now, it's craziness. Gah. I suppose there are midnight snow fairies around though; will have a look before I go to sleep. Ciao!

There is a fairy garden just down the street. At times, especially in the springtime those little things get testy and need to spread their wings and you never know just where they will wind up. I hear strange giggling at night when I take out my puppy . She stops and hears it too and looks at me as if to say"what in the world was that !" We both just stroll about trying to find the little culprit and my Demi will point every once in awhile, but I never seem to see anything. Oh, those night faires !!!!

Hey, what happened to the post about jewels? It was on my google reader and now it is gone! Oh well, just had to tell you now I feel like making jewelry. And I am the same way about dolls. Loved them growing up, tried to pretend to be a grown up after I got married and put them away but now I surrender to my doll-loving ways! Have a great weekend!

oooooooh.

i was scared at first, but i followed the flowers.

when i came across the fairy-wing sisters, they invited me to pull up the grass and sit down.

then they told me the secret of life, which you clearly already know.

i love nighttime gardens, vanessa. thank you.

:)

Hello Vanessa,
Such a lovely tale, which ended happily seeing your lovely fairies there in the garden. I am sure they will be happy in their new "yardken." A little four year old version of yard and garden. Children see everything so enchanted.

Lovely creations as always Vanessa.

Karen

Ah, what sweet faeries you have. Paying you a visit just in time of the Full Moon tomorrow.

I know! I have heard them too! Secret little whispers and giggles through the night. Secretive creatures are they. But one day, I will capture them (on film silly) and share them with you. Won't that be a sight??
Save me a piece of cake!
Hugging you
SueAnn

I love night time in the desert when there is a full moon. Especially in the summer, when the heat has filled the house and there is a cool desert breeze, outside.

I love your blog and your sense of fun. Every time I visit you bring glitter and smiles into my day. Thank you. Sending glitter and smiles right back to you, Emma. x

You really do have a talent in photography. :) Great post as usual.. :)

Oh those fairies are adorable! I get spooked easily so being in the garden at night is kinda creepy for me...then who knows what critters are out there...lol Can we come for dessert?

Enchanting and prolific, the flowers are really bright and fresh. Good post.
