Okay, it's time to come clean and tell you the truth.
I live with an angel.
No no, not that kind of angel...
I was going to make a sappy list of why he is an angel. Of why we love him so much. Of how great he is. But the things is, he balances all that with a hearty dose of rotten and aloofness. Which, makes him a rather interestingly lovable creature.
He likes to teach lessons. Like how to do certain things a more efficient way, and how to use tools properly. Things like, how to live a more balanced life, and what is important versus that which is just pointless pond scum, and has no importance.
Or even, how you could tweak your painting to make it better.
Things which the girl he lives with doesn't always accept with open arms. But admits that, most of the time, his lessons are good.
Just don't tell him I told you that.
But, the best part of being the kind of angel he is, is that he lives whimsy.
And, he wears wings without flinching.
That says it all, don't you think?
Although, he is more like this kind of angel...
Now, I better go get dressed and get out of here before he sees this post ;)
See you beyond super soon ;)
ps: Oh and, he quite enjoys the same music as Michael, and eats bags of sugar (candy) and smells likes baking cookies. Go Figure...
pss: He might not even know he wears those wings. He sort of zones me out when he is playing solitaire, and I get away with all sorts of things ;)
psss: I am in trouble for posting just got out of bed hair ;)

*THAT* is my favorite kind of angel.
Smelling like candyland and cookie heaven doesnt hurt either. :)
Happy lovely lazy lesson learning dream weaving keys tickling flower picking whimsy living gift giving Sunday to the magical gypsy pixie and the angel with chutzpah.....and their sweetest furbabies.

Vanessa,
You tell Mr. Lovee that he has very nice hair. I certainly could not tell it was of the just-out-of-bed variety. : ) You wrote a very nice tribute to him!

**squeals** Bed head hair is The Best Hair. OOooooOOoooOOOoooo a Michael kind of Angel!!! Simply De-Scrumptious. I had forgotten about that movie...such a delight. Kisses for that one...my children were small then. I do have to tell you, he's correct about balance. Balance in life is everything. LoVe lOvE LoVe to you and your Mister. Oh. And a basket of baby bunnies to boot. **blows kisses** Deb

Vanessa, Michael was a favorite movie of mine...and you know I can well understand what an angel Mr. Lovee is. So many posts are filled with the love the two of you share, and my favorite video of yours is when he is flirting with you instead of concentrating on your puppet show. I have been browsing your past posts, trying to catch up and your gardens are magnificent. What an inspiration.

Well...when you got to the part where you said you'd better get dressed and out of there before he saw the post I was cracking up and laughing soooo hard! You two are the cutest and craziest couple ever! I love it!
Right on! Have a happy week Miss Muse and Mister Angel...sounds like he is a 'problem solving' kind of guy. Balance with humor is perfection.
Fairy kisses from

And he looks pretty spiffy when he's sporting those striped socks riding that tiny bike. Now THERE'S a guy!! Loved this post. Full of love and joy. Have a wonderful, cheery, week. - Kathy

What a sweet tribute to your personal "angel." It's important to find that kind of love in your life, where you both share the same fundamental values and interests - and help each other thrive and grow - yet you are also free to be yourselves. This post made me smile and reminded me that I have a special man to thank as well (who also zones me out when he's playing Solitaire on the I-Pad!) Good night! Theresa :)

I totally KNEW what angel you were gonna compare him to, before I EVER even saw the clip of Michael! Serendipitous I say!

Have a loverrrrrrrrly new week Miss Muffin Head! :)

Awww what a sweet post!
That photo is priceless. You are lucky to learn from that lovable creature indeed :)

Oh, yes, I've certainly observed that your man obliges the upmost nonsense in your little circus troop. Mine isn't willing to be silly, but he is very kind, laughs easily, also needs his space and plays solitare (on the PC) for HOURS!

He seems like the best kind of angel to me! :) It's so sweet the way you talk about him.

The Michael movie is my favorite pick-me up movie! it instantly reminds me of what is most important. I even wrote down for a lesson plan once all the things that John Travolta says in the movie and the fun and wisdom is astounding really. I enjoyed this. My cantankerous angel is sleeping on the porch with me rained out of work with our three year old in the crook of his arm and they are heavenly. Thanks for the garden walk in the previous post. It was divine dear. so wonderful.

Oh, what a sweet angel, tee hee. And if that is 'just got out of bed hair,' then you don't want to see mine ;) btw, my Mum always used to say that I shouldn't like a guy who has nicer locks than me (which is why I married a bald one). V, your mister has pretty nice locks, so tell him you shouldn't be in trouble for posting ;)

Vanessa,
Watching that movie clip reminded me how much I loved that movie.....it's been so long since I saw it. Will have to go rent it this weekend! Life would be boring without Angels like Mr. Lovee and Michael!!! You are truly blessed <3

Oh my...my hubby's long lost twin brother!
I hate when he sneaks in a lesson or has a "helpful" hint....well, that's the look I give him and then I try my best to make use of it ;)
Wouldn't want him to get full of himself!
Cookies...hmm, Trapper always smells like a country diner, all coffee-ish and bacon-y :)
I had forgotten all about "Michael"...must get it from the library...whileI work on the studio, I am going to watch "Phoebe in Wonderland"...having never saw it, it will be a treat, I hear it's rather good...we shall see :)
