A Magical and Perfectly Enchanted Halloween Party {Revealed}

A bewitching tune swirls through the trees in the Fairy Tale Forest.  Bringing tales of witch's midnight flight, and enchantment beyond our greatest delight...

But first, you must find your way there...

How shall you find your way to this place, you ask?

Where a witch's cottage beckons you into a land so hauntingly spectacular, that all of the adventures of your childhood imagination come to life...?

"Well my pretty," echoes the voice of a witch...

I'll tell you how you get there...

You get there by receiving a wicked little map, and a proper invitation, of course!

The owls guide the way...

Little faces call your name from rooftops...

Can you hear them? 

From the rooftop of the haunted witch's cottage, Cleotilde Jacinthe sings an eery and curious fairy chant. It twirls through the leaves, like a warm summer breeze, with just a tinge of crisp autumness, to tease...

"Into the forest, deep in the woods, come one by one, and I'll show you the way...  With each skip, a year falls from age, and fairies show faces, guiding you there.  To a land where magic lives, oh how it thrives.  Here, take my hand, and watch how you fly........" (©Vanessa Valencia 2010-)

Listen, can you hear it?

 

With that, you fly through the trees, and arrive at the haunted cottage in the woods.

The witches are there to meet you. 

Esmeralda lights the path...

They put on their hats and prepare to greet you, for they are the ones that hold the party key...

They stand by their stove, and conjure up spells, to ensure that this year's party brings endless enchantment, and cackles abound!

So with that, we ask, that you join us this year...

 For dances under the moonlight, and magical mystical delicious merriment!

"Bring your cauldron and pointy hat!" says Winnifred Bedelia Enchantine...

For, the witches have prepared a hauntingly spooky bash, so don't delay, put on your striped sash...

Grab a white ghost pumpkin, and prepare for exquisite frolic and play!

The witches are waiting for you to holler hip hip hoooooray.... 

Lucretia Edalene has been baking galore...

With treats to entice...

Wondering what to do if you sign up?

If you are signing up to participate in the Halloween Celebration

all you have to do is leave me a comment, with your blog link, stating that you want to join in...

Then follow these 4 bits of advice (err, rules)...

1)  Share the flyer and/or the button on your blog as soon as possible and link to me.  I will then add your name to the "Halloween Partiers" list in my LEFT hand side bar, and link back to you. 

2)  On the day of the party, October 16th 2010, please make sure to post a Halloween Party post of your own, on your blog, linking to me.  Other partiers will be visiting you on that date. 

3)  IMPORTANT - On the day of the party, after you have your own Halloween blog post up and running, please leave a comment at my Halloween party post including your "Actual Party Link." 

4)  Blog hop with the other partiers on the day of the event and have a hauntingly ghoulish blast!! 

Note:  Please make sure you post a party post on October 16th if you signed up.  Last year several people did not do this, and lots of partiers e-mailed me to ask why they were finding some blogs without a party post.  I didn't have an answer. (if you sign up and later find that you can't make the event, please let me know and I will remove your name from the list)

We hope you can dust off your pointy lace-up boots, and join us!!

We are so excited!  It took us a month longer than planned, to bring you this news.  We almost burst with desire, to spill our party planning secrets!!  Building a haunted cottage and gowns for the witches proved to be a longer than long process ;)

We hope to see you, for magic brew, and ghosts and gasps, and caramel apples and and, well, you know ;)
