Step right up, boys and girlsssssss!
Step right up!
(Circus music surrounds you....)
Come take a peek, and if you are lucky you will see!
Part Boy, Part Dog and Part Kangaroo, for your viewing pleasure!
Every evening at a quarter to 6, a furry creature begins to circle a pool of water, at lightning speed...
Yes friends, trust you me!
Only if you are the luckiest of lucky, shall you catch a rare glimpse of this fascinating spectacle! :)
The furry creature begins to circle, and circle and circle the pool of water!
Faster, and faster and faster, until, Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!
He springs in, faster than a speeding bullet. (tee hee)
First dive, on its way...
SWOOOOSH!!!
Mouth open...
NOSE DIVE!
And then, with the morphing magic only witnessed at the hands of a true magician, he springs out of the water like a.....
But wait, before you can decipher what the creature is, you have blinked, and he is back again, Pfeeeeeeeeeeeeeew, into the water he goes....
And then, yes folks, the moment you have been waiting for.........
A Kangaroo emerges from the waves!
And then....
He is gone....
Vanished into thin air.
Only to be seen performing his dare devil tricks, every evening, at a quarter to six.
Did we mention, that he walks on two legs?
So folks, the next time you come over, bring 3 circus wish tickets with ya...
And we shall show you more :)
There you have it!
The incredible furry boy, in a dog costume, that becomes a kangaroo when you least expect!
Hahahhahaaaheheeheheeee, he is sooooooo funny!
(Hope you giggled, like we do, when he "performs.")
♥,V

He is too funny. My Rambo is afraid of water but seems to fall into the pool anyway trying to scoop out grasshoppers. He does love to run around the yard at the speed of light, though.

Ohhhh Vanessa...
What an amazing " furry boy, in a dog costume, that becomes a kangaroo" !!
You should video his escapade and send it to "America's Funniest Home Videos".
I'm so glad Matty is with you to give you so much joy and lots of giggles. He sure seems to have come along just at the right time, didn't he?
Have fun with your furry boy:

Awwww... so cute!! I chortled in delight reading that!
I envy those with canine furbabies. My silly feline furbabies run and hide at the sound of the bath running! *laugh*
Cheers!

soo cute! Love the circus frames. Me, I've just had fika with a gentleman from the 1800's. Only without a circus dog.

**squeals of delight** OMGoodness that is just too funny!!! The open, snarling mouth, nose dive, tee hee hee. You must have a very fast shutter speed and a quick, steady hand! Love love love the little header to the post and the frames you made. You so clever. Thanks for that little spot of JoY. **blows kisses** Deb

Oh my whiskers! What an incredible circus dog! Er, I mean Kangaroo. No wait, I mean a dogaroo. Yes, that's it a dogaroo. Quite handsome too! Thank you so much for capturing him on film as I'm sure too much of a crowd might scare him off. And what a shame to have missed such a performance! *applauding paws*

Oh yes, I did laugh. :) That is just so funny and cute.
I remember the first time our dog went swiming: he looked at the water and then walked right in, as if it were a continuation of the ground! He was so surprised when he came out.

The zoomies are great! He is so adorable, and I know he keeps you smiling!

That is quite hilarious Vanessa. Matty is such a fun spirit...my Roscoe would have a ball with him. He has become friends with a dog a few doors down and I take him over there and they frolic until they can't frolic anymore, tee hee. Then he comes home and acts like an old man, all sore, and wobbling, ha. Love your background papers and your drawing at the end!

All your pup-a-roo needs now is a ring of fire to jump through!
There is a PBS show called "CIRCUS" I believe its on Nov 3rd and its a .....real life from the performer's eyes..... documentary about The Big Apple Circus. The man who started it has his business Masters from Columbia but had the ambition to start a circus 22 years ago. Its a big tent circus moving from town to town - Barnum & Bailly Circus is so neoned out now and no way are they going to let you ride the elephant ! LOVE your circus theme post......

p.s. I saved the Anthropologie Circus Side Show catalog - true love
Now if they would only do a ghost town, old hotel themed one!

I laughed my head off when he jumped out !!!

AAAAAAHHHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
I LOVE this!!!!
I made sure to go get the music playing
before I scrolled down any farther. That was soooo perfect. He DOES look freakishly like a kangaroo....crazy.
I really like your photo frames.
Frames?
I needed something silly. THANKS!
He looks like he is having so much fun.
Matty almost looks like he's sneaking up on the pool...is he?

This made me smile I love your sense of creativity and I sure do love fur babies
Posted by: Monica Davis | September 30, 2010 at 04:35 PM
HAHAHAHAHA!
He's a WOnderDawg a ROONI!!!
I must admit i was a little worried that he'd run away to join the circus...you know how these performers are, moody and needing to hear the roar of the crowd, and the small of popcorn and cotton candy and fried things...he would look dashing in a big red nose and floppy shoes :-)
course, it does say part 1..... :)
{i got that circus music in my head now}

I was laughing all the way....

And what a most handsome circus dog he is!!!! He made me smile as I watched his acrobatic antics. :) I would love to see him perform in person - I'm sure it would be most grand. Thank you for sharing his most brilliant feats and daring moves! :) After all that exertion, I'll bet it was time for a little treat (and maybe a momma hug) xoxo Theresa

Okay, am I happy I had a chance to come back here and see this one?! FUN! I was always a big dog person until I got my little Scoutie. And Now, I Love Little Dogs! And I know what you mean about Tina being delicate. My brother has a little one like her, and yes---very light and airy!
Matty really DOES look like a Kanga in that photo! Love the pics. Thanks for sharing them!
Considering my trip, this season is going to whoosh by! I am already missing your lovely party (but will be checking links after I return), and most Halloween festivities, and then, blam! Christmastime! I'm actually pretty excited. And I'm just thinking... wouldn't Christmas in Paris be amazing?!

The sceneries of that dog were awesome. He is really cute to stare. I wish to have a puppy in our home, but my mom regret to have one; because my grandma has allergies with its furs. I really love pets, with them I can enjoy my self.
