It seems like a perfect time of the year for a giveaway!!
A pink and turquoise giveaway!!
Fun Fun!
Oh and, because I am in one of those butterfly stomach crafty excitement moods...
The giveaway is stuffed with things to make things, and bits and bobs of trinketries.
Say anything in comments, and I will enter your name in a hat to win the loot.
I'll draw a name for the next post.
I was going to ask you to share embarrassing moments, but, that was too much pressure even for me to come up with ;)
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
It was great around here, an all around lovely time with our guests, and lots to eat.
I worked crazy hard baking and cooking two days in a row, and it was so worth it. Lots of happy bellies it seems. I made a full traditional Thanksgiving meal.
The funny hit here were my giant yeast rolls, they were soooo HUGE after they baked!
A conversation piece and giggles a plenty.
I timed it so they came out of the oven just as everyone sat down, and the aroma was delicious.
(I don't have a photo after they were baked, as they got gobbled quickly, but they were double the size easily, haha!)
I will perfect the recipe and share it before Christmas, it's a fun addition it seems.
My especially favorite part of yesterday was being able to pick flowers, still...
To decorate the dinner table with...
Time for tea!
See you soooon!
Love, V

You are so luckey to be able to pick flowers still!

Happy Thanksgiving Vanessa! I hope I win the little gifty! HEHE! I will share an embarrassing moment even though I don't HAVE to.
Last week I hung out with a gorgeous boy. After the hanging out, he didn't ask me out... or for my number... or anything... DISHEARTENING! So as I was walking away I thought to myself "Heck no, I ain't through with him!" And I turned around and marched right back towards him. I hadn't thought this through... I got back and had absolutely nothing to say... it was very bad. I am not sure what came out of my mouth. He asked me if I'd forgotten something and I think I said something along the lines of "Uhhhh yeah.... uhhhhh, ok, found it, bye!!!"
I am such a spaz...

Pink and Turquoise sale sounds so much more fun than Black Friday sales! =) I'm glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving - we did, too. Lots of good food and belly laughing (my favorite kind!). Your flowers are lovely - alas, mine have all died away here in Virginia and the blazing trees have lost their leaves (in fact, hubby is out there raking them up right now).
Oh, and bits and bobs of trinketries are some of my favorite things, too! =) Have a great weekend!

Oooh... I will have to partake of the beauty in your store then, because I love pink and turquoise. :)

So the creative muse is with me at the moment, and a little extra bundle of goodies to play with sounds wonderful...I will share an embarrassing moment with you just because. It was only Friday night actually, while leaving a friends house on dusk, that I smacked straight into their flywire door. Nup, did not see it! My head bounced straight off that thing, giggle...(I promise I only had a couple of glasses of bubbles...)

I made biscuits this week too which were also gobbled up right quick! I had some left over "self-rising" flour (I got for another recipe) and thought to try the biscuit recipe on the back of the package- they turned out quite yummy! Can't wait to see your recipe.
Always a pleasure to lay eyes on your creations & to read your blog.
Thanks to you this Thanksgiving season!

What beautiful flowers for the end of November! I'm happy you had a good Thanksgiving. Even though my Canadian Thanksgiving is in October I found myself cooking a turkey on the American Thanksgiving. We were having a major storm with huge winds and I live in a rain forest area where we can lose power easily with all the trees. What do you do with a half-cooked turkey if the power goes out in your area for a day or so? Yikes! Thanksgiving and gratitude is when the power stays on while I cook my turkey!

This weekend and most of next week is spent moving. Just me, myself and I to move using a small truck. So Thanksgiving was spent packing and moving and thankful that I have a charming apartment with some planter boxes out front! So will plant some flowers and herbs this coming week (don't we love living in Southern Arizona!)
