You can tell where I have been lately, in my mind that is, when you peek into my goings on in the studio. I listen to faint violins that tug at the heart, and harps, harp strings with sounds like stepping into neverland.
There is no place where I feel freer, happier, and fuller of heart than in that moment where music takes me away, and my paint brush has a meeting with canvas.
It is standing there, in paint dreams, that I feel the true me come to life. There is a moment of feeling so alive, in those moments of creativity, that I can not describe.
I find myself in each piece, and then I set those feelings free...
In hopes that someone else feels those feelings too..
The paintings find me by night.
Guided by dreams, I find my way.
A kind loving creature meets me deep in sleep. He is warm, caring, guiding me into wonderland. I lose my breath...
A unicorn.
A dance.
A sparkly dress, red ballet shoes...
Mica filled clouds and dusty lavender grey skies..
Orbs and stars and billowing clouds...
A dance, a song...
Calmness.
Bliss.
And then, somehow, I find a way to capture whatever memory I have of my dream filled night with a unicorn dance...

I have a second piece of art to share, which was very much inspired by a story that is constantly in my thoughts.
The story is a fairytale my grandma told me very often as a child. The tale of the girl and the swans. It is so dear to my heart, such a vast part of my childhood memories....
And so, a swan came to visit...
Along waves of musical notes...
I am very drawn to this color scheme, and had been wanting to create amongst these parchment laden colors again, for quite some time.
I tilted the piece below, so you could see her sparkly dress. Adorned with the tiniest most twinkly sparkles...
Such a heartwarming feeling is evoked in me with this piece...
Fairytales and dreamwaves...
