Today...
Clouds linger over big mountains, trees droop with leaves, violin strings play, clouds shield the sun.
For the first time in so long there is a breeze, setting imaginations off, to run free...
The whistle of tea water.
Leaves, telling tales upon last sips?
Quiet.
Calm.
Belly butterflies visit, tempting us to plunge.
Summer gypsy days do beckon.
In the garden...
A wagon hidden by heavy branches.
Orange globes picked under dark early morning sunrise...
Candles lit...
Washing wagon floors.
Dusting walls.
Gathering petals...
Finding the most curious little message behind an old torn picture.
Cozying up with printed pages, bound and ready for reading voyages...
With gold glittered feet.
Perfect for such adventures of the mind...
On certain days -
Just like today.
You need some too.
Any color you'd like.
Paint, sparkles over wet paint - done.
Magic ensues.
Glittered feet do this.
Then...
Fairy tales come to visit.
And so, we go out searching for them ourselves.
Fairies.
Wings brush your cheek.
Your ear.
Quick and clever....
But you know.
You know.
They are there.
Time for lunch, or snack - a nibble.
Gathering green in the garden...
Succulent little berries as well...
So far today...
Divine.
Hopes for grey skies and clouds to stay a while, so a girl can finally play under great big trees.
Take the sun to your house for today, k?
It's been a lovely week, visits from Mombie, doing hair.
Danishes, chocolate croissants.
Vegetable stew.
Pups so happy to see granny, they love her.
Mopping floors, scrubbing nooks.
Painting on canvas.
Deep cleaning week.
Laundry done.
Every secret spot vacuumed.
Phew, that's a lot of work.
Keeping house.
Where's Olga when you need her?
Oh Olga.
Love, V
pss: Mister Lovee isn't thrilled with the glitter feet. He thinks it is very "alien" of me. Whatever that means?
What I want to know is -
A) Do aliens have glittered feet?
And,
B) How does does Mister Lovee know this?
Hmmm?
I love glittered feet. I think I have to glitter his while he sleeps. But he is sooooo ticklish, I might not succeed.
