Today is a beautiful bright day. Knowme is delighted! He had a lovely makeover. Thank You for all your tips and interest in little Knowme. Risa had great color ideas ( I did go cool tone, with a violetish).
TA-DA!
Jungle Dream Pagoda posted the most fabulous comment and was so intuitive about the song Knowme sang... JungleDreamPagoda: Lovely story. Was this the song he sang?

Knowme even carries around a little painter's palette. He is quite the little artiste.
Knowme got to go to his first Birthday Party last night. We decided since he had never been to one, we would let him celebrate his own first Birthday. (Pictures of the party at the end of today's blog).
I am having a lovely day, drawing, painting and doing research. My kind of research is quite dreamy. Delving into all sorts of art books & magazines (Somerset Studio winter 2007 top left in photograph). Knowme is being creative too, painting his boat...
I am also loving my KittyGenius prints (two to the left), and am totally impressed with the quality. The Canvas is wonderful AshleyG!
I am perfecting leafless trees and hairdo's with twisty buns today (painting that is).
You have to check out MaryContrary's lovely jewel treasures! I am wanting that typewriter necklace!! And The Artist Herself, The Black Apple, is putting up many new lovelies for sale today. Waiting totally impatiently...
Happy Birthday to Mr. Ireland. We had a lovely tiny party last night. The food was scrumptious. Jasper's of course. I mean, Saguaro shaped corn bread?? Love It! And the dessert they gifted my guest was unbelievable. Thank You Jasper's! Oh and talk about serendipity. Mr. Ireland, who has asked not to be blogged about, is from County Cork. He has only lived in the states about 5 years. Well, he misses his home often. So, I was at the Golden Goose. Best thrift store ever! And found this book...Guess what? I didn't even know this until last night...It was signed by the author and had some internet papers in it that talked about the book's ties to Cork. Someone had even written the word "Corkman." Was that perfection??? Wild I'd say....See you soon!!!
