Oh friends, do I have a tale for you. You see, one day Mon Cher (the little Pie Girl from the videos) and the Mad Hatter (of the clay variety) were chatting. They decided that they wanted to do something extra wonderful, for their little video productions...
You see, their camera that took video, kicked the bucket last week. So, Mon Cher did tons of research about digital video recorders, until her brain almost exploded.
Then, Mon Cher and The Mad Hatter made the grandest decision. Let's make videos in HD!! they exclaimed... (okay, it was all Mon Cher's idea, but who cares ;) really)
They were both so excited, so they broke their giant clay piggie bank, and counted all their loot. And then, armed with loot and oodles of information, Mon Cher went to, dun dun dun...
Best Buy. (although she normally bought on line, she needed a human to answer some questions)
Mon Cher knew exactly what she wanted, and knew all the questions to ask. And ask she did, to a nice young sales associate who was funny and patient. He pointed her to just the camera she needed...
Can I make videos with this camera, using my video program...?
Can I make videos right away?
Is this the best product, and why?
Can we compare it to the other 80 cameras you have in stock, because this is more than I was prepared to spend...
Her questions went on and on....
Finally, Mon Cher was convinced. She went home with a fancy product, excited to share A Fanciful Twist videos in super crisp HD quality. YAY!
So, Mon Cher and The Mad Hatter prepared...
But then, there was a twist in the plot of this tale. All the answers she received "yes" to when she bought the video camera, were actually, not Yeses at all.
HD was not compatible, with almost all video making programs, especially not the one she had (as she later found out). And, she would need a video converter to even be able to edit a video in her computer. Which she spent two days in agony, learning about.
Oh, and once you convert your video so that you can edit it, don't panic, but all your videos will be upside down (and not in HD quality at all). But if you learn how to do a headstand, 50% of your problems will be fixed... Phew, thank heavens ;)
Oh oh, and if you really want to make videos with this camera, you will need 10 gnomes, a partridge in a pear tree, and a talking Monkey.
But some how, that little Mon Cher muscled through it.
Although, her video persona may have paid the price ;)
The fruit of 4 days of, well, netherworld learning curves, and no HD quality to speak of (sniffle), brings the most...
Silliest frazzled little video in the wooooooorld.
Just for you ;)
(with outtakes at the end)
I hope you still like us ;)
See you ever so soooooooon!
