Hello friends! Isn't it wonderful? October has arrived! I had the perfect visitor, to help me harvest most of the pumpkins, and celebrate all that October brings...
Her name is Zarina Christina, and she is a Russian princess. Her mama (who is a dear friend of mine) calls her Tina. Isn't she a doll?
She made my Welcome October festivities so special, that I knew I had to share her with you. She is simply beyond words. So happy and sweet!
We had a more than splendid time harvesting most of the pumpkins. Tina was delighted, and toodled around with a smile from ear to ear...
She is such a joy. Isn't she the most perfect little gal to help welcome us into October? I hope you think so too ;)
Cutie, cutie, cutes!!!
Even the pumpkins look like they are smiling at her, don't you think?
What a wonderful day. Pumpkins and fur. And soooo much love.
Tina has a crush on Matty. Her mama and I fear that she and Matty will run away in a pumpkin carriage, pulled by Tina's two siblings (who happen to be turtles).
Although, I am not sure I can trust Matty alone with her. She has a stuffed animal quality, and is very dainty. I am not sure my furry boy can handle a dainty gal, you know what I mean? He is jumping, and rough play, and dirt, and everything oh so boy.
Tina played soooooo much while she visited. It was constant play. After we collected our garden loot, her mama and I had a feast of a picnic, and laughed and chatted for hours and hours. Our dessert was kabocha pumpkin drowning in a delicate autumn spice, mixed with melted butter and brown sugar.
It was decadent.
After a little while, we realized Tina was being ever so silent.
The pumpkin picker girl was dreaming....
Hiding under the table in deep slumber.
So, Tina's mama and I decided we needed a nap too. Harvesting pumpkins in 110' weather, and eating all that yummy food, was just too much.
But, just was we started to relax and put our feet up.......
Someone awoke with the vigor and energy, of well, a young pup ;)
And so, play-time continued...
Welcome October!
Welcome enchantment and costumes, breezes, and hay rides. Welcome the swirling of holidays, merriment and more.
I don't know about you, but it is just about this time of year, where I feel I need to hang on for dear life. Why you ask? Well, it seems that time goes by faster than ever, at this time of the year.
So, let's hang on, and enjoy Autumn to the fullest!
Hooooray!
October, we love you!

ps: A treat, made by beloved Miss Deborah over at Midlife Poet, to entice the spirit, bwahahaha! I ♥ him. I even let him steal some of Mister Lovee's fresh candy corn ;)
