I have a tale of wishes to share.
Wishes of yours, and yours, and yours and even some of mine. Wishes that now reside suspended in time, in one of my most secret fairy places, just waiting to come true. After-all, it's up to you, to set them free from your deepest heart. I just like to help give them a little push, with some assistance of course, from my trusty friends...
Before I take you with me, I must tell you how this all began. You see, I took a couple of days off to do the wash and tidy and recharge from this hectic holiday season.
When the time was just right, your wishes tugged on me ever so tight...
They swirled in the air, and landed in the palm of my hand.
I promise, they did.
Then slowly began lifting off, making their way to come true...
I promptly ran outside, into the warm sunshine, and one by one they began drifting away.
As you are aware, wishes can sometimes be extra finicky. Some wishes are not ready to go out into the world, whilst other speed off, gone before you can even blink.
Others need a little push...
Set off into warm winter light...
The luckiest thing is that I caught site of where some would land before venturing off...
And, if you look ever so closely...
You might spot your wish, living on a leaf, waiting for the most perfect of curious winds to carry it off for you...
There were a handful of wishes that wanted to stay a little while longer, before heading off to adventures untold...
And so, I thought of the perfect place for them to reside, while they work up the courage to come to life.
It is a very secret space, so dear to my heart, where frogs really fly and occasionally...
Well, you fill in the rhyme, tee hee!
It gives them speed ;)
(I know I know, I just couldn't resist)
This super secret place is one you will often find me in, chanting that famous chant to the fairies...
"Come out from your Fairy Bower
Come upon this golden hour
Come to us, we beg you please
Fairies dancing on the breeze..."
You see, this is a spot in our garden, along a corridor of trees and shrubs. With a path guiding the way to your wildest dreams.
There are two trees that have grown together to form an arch of leaves just my height. And, it is under those trees, where I feel the most magical tingle...
When it rains on hot summer days, the first place I run to is here. Where I am sure to spot a fairy or two hiding from the droplets.
So, I thought, this is the perfect place to let wishes live, amongst gnomes and fairies. A perfect place indeed. And, when they are ready, they will fly free...
Gnomes are incredible helpers in coaxing wishes to be on their way. Especially if you gift them with...
Rose petals.
They simply love them...
So, I line the hidden path in our fairy bower with berries and petals, and watch the sun begin to set...
Glimmers of light through doilies do thoroughly delight!
I tell your wishes to take their time, they can stay as long as they'd like...
But, if they would like to skip off, the moon is out to guide their way...
Light a candle, and stay a while, won't you?
I adore gnome speak, especially their song by night. Anyone of us can hear it, if we listen just right.
Guide your wishes through the fairy bower, down the path where wishes root and grow and flower. Some wishes even wait til spring, as they like to ride in between the wings of bees you see...
My secret space, now yours as well...
As we are guided on our path at night, by fur, times two!
In you go, don't be afraid, fireflies and fairies have made moon glow lemonade. It's a celebration, a welcoming of wishes who will stay here to live, for as long as they'd like, as I've said.
Don't worry, we will encourage wishes every day and night, reminding them that they belong to you. That you will bake them cupcakes and sing them songs. But most importantly, that you would like ever so much for them to come true.
And, just like that, wishes are set free.
Will they come true?
We have yet to see!
I sure do hope you share with me and Mister Smee!
Okay, I promise to cut out my attempt at rhyming now ;)
Love, Veeeeeeeeeeeeee
I am going to run and check on the wishes, and have tea in the fairy bower!!
Care to join me?
I do believe in fairies, I do!!
