It's that time of year...
Where my fingers are ever so busy hand-sculpting little sweeties out of chunks of clay.
I spend a lot of time on each piece, sculpting them entirely from scratch, then adding 3 to 4 layers of paint, stain, sealer and fairy sparkles.
The Halloween cuties are especially fun to make.
With pink ghosts and pet stars...
And Jack-O-Lanterns in tree stumps.
Oh, and we mustn't forget big ear mousie...
And mushroom fascinators on smiling pumpkin faces.
This year I spent a crazy amount of time paying homage to one of my favorite Halloween characters -
Sam, from the movie Trick r' Treat.
Needless to say, I've delighted in the weeks it's taken me to make these cuties, spending so much time with them.
Alas, it is now time to bid them adieu, and send them off on their own adventures.
Perhaps one will be on its way to live with vous?

Now, I must be off to check the pumpkins in the garden and take Teddy for a walk.
I think I have glitter all over my forehead as I type :-)
